Friends of Areaworks – Habit Creative
The ability for a video to capture your attention is second to none. And the art of developing this powerful tool is a highly valuable and sought after skill. It’s because of this that Areaworks has teamed up with a fantastic team at Habit Creative, to provide our members access to affordable and discounted services from a highly skilled team. Habit Creative is a full service independent creative agency and video production company specialising in flawless advertising, digital content and video. We sat down with Graham, the founder, to tell us a bit more about the company and himself…
A bit about you – what’s your background.
My background is in media, having worked in the newspaper industry for many years, I made the jump to agency side, quickly realising that with the right team around me I would stand a good chance of going it alone.
Why did you decide to open?
We spotted an opportunity for a capable and agile creative agency to fill the gap between freelancers and large ad agencies, delivering quality work, comparable to the big players at a significantly lower price point.
What’s been your biggest challenge so far?
Growing the team and hiring the right people at the right time. Forecasting workload.
What’s been the highlight so far?
Several TV campaigns for high profile global brands and multiple awards for our work.
What are your plans for the future?
To continue to put the work first, building a recession-proof business that will thrive in an economic downturn
